MACON COUNTY, N.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Macon County Sheriff’s Office said multiple suspects were charged following an extended drug investigation. Deputies said they worked with the Franklin Police Department in an early morning raid on July 1, just before daylight and detained everyone at the residence, where deputies located five adults and two children, along with a gun and 12 grams of crack cocaine. Four people have been charged.
