SYLVA] – Area residents will get a first glimpse at images from the James Webb Space Telescope. NASA is unveiling the first images during a livestream event hosted by The Smoky Mountains STEM Collaborative (SMSC) next Tuesday, July 12, in Myers Auditorium at the Southwestern Community College Jackson campus. The James Webb Space Telescope was launched in Dec. 2021 and is returning images from its mission that will provide a new perspective of the known universe.
