CANTON, N.C. (WLOS) – The town of Canton will soon have a newly recruited K-9 officer on the force.
Officer ‘Riley’ will begin training with Current K-9 officer “Champ” who is nearing retirement age, Canton Police Department said in a release on Friday, July 8. K-9 Riley and his handler should be ready to report for duty in August, after they pass a basic training and certification course.
