Social Media messages threatening to shoot up Jackson County school led arrest of Texas men

Social Media messages threatening to shoot up a Jackson County school led to the arrest of two Texas men. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation Wednesday [June 22] into a group text on a social media platform referencing violence at SOAR, and Nicholas Selby, 23, and Robert Ryan, 21, both former camp counselors at the SOAR campus, were quickly linked to the ominous remarks. The two are being held without bond in the Jackson County Detention Center and are charged with making threats of mass violence, and drug possession. They are currently jailed in the Jackson County Detention Center with no bond.
