CANTON, N.C. (WLOS) – Looking for kid friendly activites this summer? Haywood County will soon be opening its first splash pad to help ya beat the Heat and keep the kiddos busy. It’s located in Sorrells Street Park near the end of downtown Canton. The director of Canton’s Parks and Recreation department says the $125,000 project is a game changer for the town and they’re excited to welcome the community
just in time for the Fourth of July weekend when they open this Saturday {July 2]. The summer hours will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through September.
