Judge hands down triple sentence for Jackson County man

A judge handed down a triple sentence for a Jackson County man who failed to show up for his February jury sentencing hearing on drug trafficking charges. Phillip Jordan Andrews, 25, must serve a minimum of 70 months in prison to a maximum of 93 months for trafficking, and 32-51 months in connection with a separate 2020 burglary and assault. Andrews also received a third consecutive sentence of 6-17 months, suspended and was ordered to serve 60 months probation.
