UPDATE; We’re learning more about an incident in which a 3 year old child was killed when she was swept over a North Carolina waterfall Sunday. The family is now speaking out about the tragedy and said they tried desperately to rescue the toddler, who slipped and fell into the rushing current at Whitewater Falls, in Jackson County, officials with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said. The family said their angel, little Nevaeh, which is heaven spelled backwards, is with God in heaven now. A GoFundMe page has been created to help the family with funeral expenses.
