A three year old murder case has been solved after a Hayesville man confessed he shot and killed Jordan Ramon Garcia, 20. According to the District Attorney’s office, Caleb Ellis, 20, accepted a plea deal in the case, in which the victims body was discovered when his grandmother reported smelling an odor at her home in Hayesville. Law enforcement discovered Garcia’s burned body under metal roofing. Ellis was sentenced to a maximum of 201 months behind bars.
