How students were able to learn or not learn is the focus of a soon to be released North Carolina Department of Public Instruction study. Last March, the General Assembly directed the department to take a deeper look into how students were impacted by school closures, remote learning and other pandemic challenges. The NCDPI research looks at a learning loss from the pandemic in North Carolina schools. The final results of the study are expected to be released during an upcoming State Board of Education meeting.
