Veterans History Museum of Carolinas set to reopen it’s doors

BREVARD, N.C. (WLOS) – A restored World War II Jeep will highlight the 2022 reopening of the Veterans History Museum of the Carolinas, set for tomorrow (March 2) in Brevard. The exhibit places the restored 1943 Willys Jeep in front of an Army Post Office (APO) somewhere in the European theater, along with a vintage World War II Harley Davidson motorcycle. The role of women in the military is also showcased throughout the museum, including World War II women’s uniforms and memorabilia. The museum, located in Brevard at 21 East Main Street, beside the Transylvania County Courthouse, is open Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is free.
