Haywood County’s drug crackdown has netted deputies over a pound of illegal drugs, four arrests and multiple trafficking charges, within 24 hours. Haywood County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted three separate vehicle stops on December 22nd in Waynesville, Canton, and Clyde and seized over a pound of methamphetamine and fentanyl. The around-the-clock operation is aimed at combating the ongoing drug problems plaguing the county.
