Wet weekend weather didn’t put a damper on the Wreaths Across America program. Residents showed up Saturday morning at Greenhill and Upper Crabtree cemeteries despite steady rain to honor veterans, as they placed more than three dozen wreaths on graves of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
This was the first time the event has been held at Upper Crabtree, where at least 79 veterans are laid to rest. A similar program was also held at Greenhill Cemetery over the weekend.
