Jackson County, so far, seems to be bucking COVID trend

Jackson County, so far, seems to be bucking a COVID trend that has cases climbing everywhere else. The western counties lagged behind the rest of the world during the Alpha and Delta waves. While recent data shows the state’s seven-day average rose to 5,369 on Dec. 28, almost tripling from the week before, Jackson County’s seven-day average stands at 107, with 47 cases reported in the last week.
