Two mountain high schools getting some some help rebuilding after flooding

TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers are donating thousands of dollars to help two mountain high schools recover from flooding damages in the wake of Tropical Storm Fred. The Panthers are donating a total of $50,000 — $25,000 to Pisgah and $25,000 to Rosman High School, which have both sustained significant damage to their athletic facilities. Both checks were presented to both schools at their respective football games this weekend [fri., Oct. 22].
