CHEROKEE, N.C. (WLOS) — A special ceremony to honor veterans was held Friday morning at the Cherokee High School football stadium. The school’s JROTC program presented colors to kick off the ceremony, and the U.S. Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon traveled from Washington to be there.
