CANTON, N.C. (WLOS) — More than $37,000 was raised in one day for flood victims in Haywood County. The money was raised at three different events across the county Saturday, Oct. 2. According to event organizers, all proceeds will benefit those hit hardest by last month’s flooding, a result of Tropical Storm Fred.
