A Haywood County sex offender could face as much as 15 years in prison after child pornography was discovered on his phone. Ronald Lee Smith, 50, pleaded guilty this month in Haywood County Superior Court to nine child ‘sexploitation’ charges. Maggie Valley police arrested Smith in March of this year.
