CANTON — Plans for an affordable housing project on the outskirts of Canton remain contingent on grant funding. Canton leaders said the $750,000 grant will cover infrastructure for the development of 18 single-family units on almost 6 acres of land off the Old Clyde Highway between Clyde and Canton. If funding is received before the end of the year, officials said work could start in the spring.
