A civil lawsuit has been filed against a Lake Junaluska [joo nuh luh skuh] doctor in connection to drugging and having non consenual sex with a patient. Allan Norman Zacher III, 67, voluntarily surrendered his medical license Sept. 7 after he was accused of encouraging a woman to have a drink with him to settle her unpaid Botox bill, and then giving her pills, before having his way with her. No criminal charges have been filed in the 2018 incident. The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office, said the investigation and case were initially reviewed with no charges filed but it will become once again an ongoing investigation.
