Residents on three streets in Waynesville are hoping to see some relief this fall from drivers speeding and cutting-through their neighborhoods. The town will spend over $50,000 on roadway infrastructure designed to slow down drivers on Hendrix Street, Auburn Road between Burke and South Main streets and Country Club Drive, as part of the town’s fall paving schedule, according to Assistant Town Manager Jesse Fowler.
