BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – Authorities have released the identity of the victim of a homicide in Buncombe County. The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of shots fired Monday night on Ben Lippen Road in Asheville and found Boyce Shane Plemmons, 44, of Buncombe County suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. The investigation is ongoing and the case remains active, aurhorities said. If you have any information that can help deputies with this investigation, you’re asked to call the sheriff’s office.
