GLENVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) – Police apprehended two suspects in a shooting Wednesday in the Glenville community of Jackson County that left one person hospitalized. Deputies arrested, Christian Ryan Sammons, 28, who was identified as the shooter, and Felisha Faye Coggins, 33, who police say was an accomplise, Wednesday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities said officers were dispatched to Big Ridge Road for reports of gunfire and found the victim had been shot in the leg, but said the injury was not life-threatening, according to a Jackson County Sheriff’s Department news release. Police are continuing to investigate and say the case remains active.
