A Glenville man and woman are facing charges in connection to a shooting last week that left one man wounded. Christian Ryan Sammons, 28, is identified as the alleged suspect, and Felisha Faye Coggins, 33, as his accomplise, in a shooting at a home on Big Ridge Rd., Sept. 15, in which the victim, David Roberts, was found with a bullet in his leg according to a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office press release. He was treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries at Mission Hospital in Asheville. The investigation is ongoing and further charges are possible, the release states. Bond has been set for both suspects who are being held in the Jackson County Detention Center.
