Florida man arrested in Macon County on theft charges sentenced

MACON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – A Florida man who led Macon County authorities on a high speed chase has pleaded guilty to several charges. The N.C. District attorney’s office announced that Joshua Faulk, 35, was sentenced to spend four to six years in prison. Faulk’s charges stem from an incident that took place last year after he stole a vehicle in Tennessee, and drove into Macon County on U.S. 23/441 where a N.C. Highway Patrol trooper clocked the vehicle at 105 mph and attempted to stop Falk who sped away prompting a police pursuit through the town, before he was apprehended by N.C.
