The Sylva planning board has given it’s stamp of approval to two apartment complex projects. First, a firm called KRP Investments wants to build the Canyon Chase APartments geared toward senior living in a 4 acre parcel of land at 701 Skyland Drive. The application calls for a single 4-story building containing 84 units. Secondly, The Bluffs development is being proposed by a firm called Southern Properties and Development out of the WInston-Salem area. Those plans call for three buildings, three stories each, for a total of 72 units. A puiblic hearing is set for April 1st.
